Crafters for Kamala Fundraising

UPDATE: We have extended our fund drive for the Harris Campaign thru Sunday, Sept. Sept. 29. Any day we are open (likely we will be closed Thursday & Friday due to the storm), folks can stop by and fill out a donation form and write a check to the "Harris Victory Fund." You can also donate online at https://kamalaharris.com/ - just send us a screenshot of your receipt so we know how much was part of our fund drive. The first 27 donors will receive a free handmade Kitten for Kamala made by Elizabeth! ;-)

We also have some beautiful handmade Harris campaign t-shirts by local fiber artist Jennifer Woodruff available to purchase in the shop through the weekend.

Despite the big storm, several people joined us for our Crafters for Kamala event on Wednesday, Sept. 25. Inspired by the “Makers for Kamala” movement (find on FB or Ravelry), we wanted to provide an opportunity for local crafters to come together to raise some FIBER FUN and FUNDS for the Harris/Walz campaign.

There is NO minimum. Every penny IS needed to save our democracy this November from falling into the fascist dictatorship sought by Trump and his allies. Bring your cash, your checkbook, and/or your credit card. If you didn't think your small amount was worth the online transaction or stamp in the mail, don't let that stop you. We'll pool all our donations! (though each individual donation does, by law, need to be attached to a name & address & occupation). But we'll have the forms and we'll mail it all in for you (for cash & check donations). Well also have multiple devices for doing online donations. We want to take the stress and work out of donating.

Crafting: We also have patterns so you can make your own kitties, kits for the Patriotic Pussyhat, and stickers, tags, and handouts you can take to add to your own campaign-related makes to share with others. Elizabeth also plotting a yarn bomb and happy for some help in making KAMALA letters!

INFO/SIGNS & Other opportunities: We also have lots of handouts, election info (including about ways to volunteer), and some yard signs (while supplies last) if you want to help amplify some campaigns.
