Juniper Moon Farm Yarns

Founded by Susan Gibbs in 2007, Juniper Moon Farm was the first to apply the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model to yarn and spinning fibers. Their CSA and flock retired at the end of the 2015 season and are living out their days grazing on sweet grass and sleeping under the stars.  Gibbs founded the Juniper Moon Farm Yarn as a line of carefully sourced and thoughtfully crafted yarns that feature fibers grown in Peru, Argentina, Nepal, and Italy.  Purl's mainly carries Juniper Moon's non-wool blends including the buttery soft Cumulus and the cotton/linen blend Zooey. We have also  added their 100% organic merino dk yarn Patagonia as well as the new Rambouillet which is domestically sourced from the USA which was the intent from the beginning of JMF. We hope this will become a trend!
