Holiday Calendar Yarn Box 2025: BIRDs of NC Box!
This year’s holiday yarn box is a celebration of Birds of North Carolina!
This is Purl's 4th annual Limited Edition Holiday Yarn Box. Pre-order now and we will deliver it (or you pick it up at the shop) on or before Nov. 30). Because of so many local pickups, shipping is not included in the price so we can put more goodies in the box instead. So if you select the shipping option, you'll be paying $15 extra. Only 24 of these exclusive kits will be made this year (12 mini sets and 12 micro sets), so don't wait to order!
This year's NC Birds themed box will be feathered with the following treasures:
- 24 hand-dyed mini or micro sock yarn skeins (your choice)
individually wrapped and numbered for you to open daily (or all at once!). The colors will correspond to 24 different birds of North Carolina.
* Micro skeins are 10 grams/46 yards each (75% superwash merino/25% nylon)
* Mini skeins are 20 grams/92 yards each (75% superwash merino/25% nylon) - A Bird Info card with each Carolina Birdy!
- A bird-themed project bag handmade by Elizabeth
- Bird-themed pattern ideas including a shawl as well as some mini critters.
- An assortment of bird-themed goodies such as stitch markers, a journal, etc.
- All nested in a reusable box and festive packaging
- Note: this year we are not including a contrast 100 gram fingering weight yarn as we know many folks have some in their stash or would prefer selecting a color of their choice to purchase if needed. Not including also allowed us to keep the price the same as previous years.
Pre-orders begin Tuesday, May 7. Order by May 31 for a lower rate of $225 for mini skein box; $150 for micro skein box.
Orders made after May 31: $250 for mini skein box; $175 for micro skein box.
Orders will CLOSE once all boxes (12 minis and 12 micros) have sold.
