Mothman Kit

I believe… this cryptid can go with you everywhere! Knit this sweet little Mothman for yourself or your cryptid-loving friend.

Mothman’s body is knit top down like a toe-up sock, using the magic loop method. You separate the body stitches for the legs, stuffing as you go. Arms and wings are knit separately and then sewn on. Antennae are picked up on the head and knit like an i-cord. Finished stuffie about 7 1/2" tall.

• 1 skein Kraemer Perfection Chunky (30% US Merino wool/
• 70% acrylic; 120 yards/100 grams) in black
• red heart safety eyes & stuffing
• pattern for Mothman knitted top down like a toe-up sock using the magic loop method

• US 8 32” or longer circ (or size needed for firm fabric)
• US 10 or 10.5 24” circ for wings knit flat
• dpns for i-cord antennae
• darning needle & stitch markers
